Wired and BroBible are 2 blogs that show what is going on in the media and sports world. The blogs are very informational to me because I do not watch the news or many media outlets at that, when you are busy it is nice to be able to look up a story and read about what happened. I do not like that some times the blogs are hard to read and have no real personality to them. The 2 blogs are organized by showing the top trending topics and then showing the not so trendy stuff later. The format for both blogs are corporate style blogs they keep it professional but can get a little personal at times. The authors purpose is to get the reader to read about what is gong on in the world by giving them the trending and top stories. The purpose influences the reader because when the reader open their website they see a crazy interesting story that can get them hooked instantly.

ReplyDeleteWhen considering your blogs, push yourself and consider specific elements and examples from the blogs you are analyzing. Aside from the content and purpose of the sites you consider, analyze the elements of the blogs that also impact the reader/viewer's experience. Font? Color? Size? Photo to text ratio? Simplicity versus busyness, etc.? You did an effective job of hyperlinking here - visual support (images, videos, gifs, etc.) is also part of developing an engaging entry.
